HISTORY. While meditating on Psalm 91 one day, I was challenged by verse 14 in particular: "Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because He hath known my name."

Within a week God started opening my eyes to all of His names--it seemed to me I was seeing them everywhere: as I read the Word, in books, on plaques, etc.

I started a collection in my notebook and finally entered them all into an Excel file. I alphabetized them and had a desire to memorize them, but didn't know how to begin.

Then, within a matter of hours, while shampooing our Youth Pastor's carpets (we own a nice Kirby with a shampoo unit and they were moving out of an apartment), the above song came to me. I'd stop and jot notes and then keep on shampooing. It was a glorious day and I now can say that I "KNOW" many of God's wonderful names.

I love the saying, "What God orders, He pays for." Well, He put a desire in my heart and then He provided the means for me to fulfill it. Isn't that just like Him?!
