Hi!
My name is Marnie Swedberg. I am The
Event Planners Friend: I love to coordinate (and provide
others with tools to help them coordinate) events and parties.
I started organizing Scavenger Hunts over 20 years ago. My
first big hunt was for the Greater Minneapolis Singles Association.
It was a city wide hunt with over seventy hunters, transported
in buses to eight drop points.
Since then, each time I needed to plan another hunt, I would
spend time searching the Internet, calling other party planners,
and going through my own (and the public library's) party
books in an effort to find just one truly new and exciting
hunt idea.
I always started my search with the "New Book"
section, because the easiest option would be to take someone
else's ideas and make them work for me. But there were never
any new Scavenger Hunt books, just the same old few that I'd
long since exhausted.
