Mark

Mark is my firstborn and a truly wonderful friend to me. He has a great mind, the determination of a freight train, yet this quiet, gentleness that permeates all he does. I miss his constant support, help and encouragement. I always look forward to his calls, visits and hearing about his life, how he's doing and about his new projects. I'm so proud to be Mark's mom.

Father, I will never cease to pray and make [special] requests for Mark, [asking] that he may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into Your ways and purposes] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things-- That he may walk (live and conduct himself) in a manner You are worthy of, fully pleasing to You and desiring to please You in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by Your knowledge [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition]. I pray that Mark may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of Your glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, giving thanks to You, Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (Your holy people) in the Light.
