Meet Cherrilynn Bisbano

TO LIVE IS CHRIST
Jesus Said - "Talitha cumi," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." (Mark 5:41) Cherrilynn teaches that Believers must arise from a dead way of thinking and living and live FREE to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The joy of the Lord is her constant Strength. When you first meet her you would never know that she has suffered through many heartaches and disappointments as an abused child. Cherrilynn longed for acceptance and understanding and tried many ways to get it. While serving in the military, Cherrilynn heard Gods loving voice calling to her. Now His Word, along with the power of the Holy Spirit, continues to transform this sister in Christ. In her own words... "The Lord has carried me through an abusive childhood, chronic illness, three miscarriages, family deaths, a suicidal sibling, a child with aspergers and many more difficulties. I would have never made it through if it were not for HIM! Praise His Holy Name!" Cherrilynn has served on short term missions to Guenope, Honduras, El Playa de Cuco, El Salvador and Togo, Africa. She credits her growth in the Lord to working in Christian Radio for 10 years and making it a point to study His word daily. Cherrilynn lives in RI now and is happily married to Michael and they have a wonderful 11 year old son. Cherrilynn's prayerful teaching approach is filled with the Word of God. Her greatest desire is to be like Jesus and to be transformed into His likeness. Cherrilynn had the privilege of serving God as the Prayer Coordinator of Operation Christmas Child for the state of New Hampshire. She considers it an honor to be used by God teaching the women at "Grace House" in Providence. Pastor Dean Glover, Outreach Pastor

    Hampton Falls First Baptist

Over the past year I have had the privilege of working in a local church ministry setting with Cherrilynn Bisbano, a member of our congregation. During that time, I have had occasion to observe her in various settings, including at her home as a wife and mom, at church as a mentor and helper in various ministries, and specifically in an intensive personal growth ministry entitled REBUILD that I oversee. As well, she has been in classes that I teach, including a current Gospel of Mark course where we group-mentor new believers under the heading, “What Jesus Said.” This is an in-depth course of instruction in basic Christian values and beliefs. Cherrilynn brings an interesting combination to any assignment she undertakes. I have found her enthusiasm, zeal for God’s Word and His ways, and her strong desire to introduce others to the Lord Jesus Christ, to be invaluable assists to these various ministry areas. Often, we deal with people who come from extremely dysfunctional situations, and they lack any understanding of the Christian life and belief system. She is able to take confused, questioning individuals and lead them to a safe position where they can feel trust and warmth in the manner her ministry is conducted. She is quick to introduce seekers to other church members and staff, an action that helps assure support for the individual and verification of what she tells the newcomer. In particular, Cherrilynn excels at urging those who are lost, disappointed, discouraged, or in some way disillusioned with the church and faith to take a second look. She is nurturing, challenging when necessary, and creative in finding solutions for those she assists. Often in the REBUILD group, an association of individuals from our church and from “the outside world,” Cherrilynn is able to minister to the women who come seeking help. She is genuinely compassionate, kind, insightful, and spiritually helpful to those who most need a helping presence. I have observed her careful support in action, and have found that she is able to find ways to accomplish life goals with the group members when they have long since given up on themselves. She has been a strong prayer warrior for REBUILD, and has provided an in-depth speaking testimony when called on to do so. That is not to overlook her servant-heart, as she has also helped with our clothing ministry, food preparation and presentation, and kitchen management when it becomes necessary. She is versatile, and a reliable part of our team. I recommend Cherrilynn heartily and encourage you to avail yourself of her talents and gifts. Very truly yours, Rev. Dean R. Glover Rev. Dean R. Cathy Bringhurst, Head of Childrens and Womens Ministries, long time friend

    New Hope Christian Church

My name is Cathy Bringhurst and I'm the Director of Children's Ministry at New Hope Christian Church and the Director of Women's Ministry at this church also. I have been director of both these ministries for more than fifteen years. Cherrilynn Bisbano, who I've known for the past ten years, was a part of the "Core Group" of our Women's Ministry for several years. She is a very warm and caring woman, one who loves the Lord and is always eager to share her faith with others. Whether it is one on one or in a group setting, teaching the Word, her love for Christ is always very, very evident. The Word of God is deep within her soul; she knows the Word and she lives it. As we all go through the storms of life, who we are in our faith or lack of faith, certainly will rise to the surface. Sometimes, sadly to say, what surfaces is not what we preached. Cherrilynn is a lovely example of trusting in God's Word and holding fast to His promises. She has been through those storms, her faith has been tested and she has come through as a bright and shining light. Cherrilynn is a woman that you can be very proud to add to your group of ladies who minister to others.

I have known Cherrilynn for over 10 years. We have shared many laughs and tears together. Thoughout our friendship she has always put Christ first. She makes me laugh even during the most difficult times. The Word of God is the basis for her entire life. No matter what fire she faces she always comes out praising God.

It is an honor and pleasure to recommend my long time friend, and sister in Christ, Cherrilynn Bisbano to this ministry. For as long as I have known her, more than 10 years, she has been a role model for the solid Christian woman. She has exemplified faith and loyalty to our Lord, despite some very serious circumstances in her life. She is a prayer warrior, my most solid partner and confidant during times of need, and she is wise and sensitive to discern those times, especially for others, without ever even having to be asked for help, her devotion to prayer and encouragement are relentless. She spends much of her time studyng God's Word, for her own enlightenment and for the benefit of being able to counsel and uplift others with the healing words of Christ. Her ability to memorize & recall Scripture astounds me again and again. She is caring, unselfish, and light-hearted, yet serious about Jesus, dedicated to His calling on her life and her family, and always makes herself available to serve, with a special place in her heart for Womens Ministry. I admire her obedience in responding to God's call to her, to speak to other women about His work in her life, and the potential He has to work in theirs. She is educated, trained, and devoted to this cause. I have been present at her speaking engagements in the past, and am blessed to have been able to receive a message from her thoughtful ans concise words. I consider it a priviledge to call her friend, and a treasure to call her my family. Respectfully, Lisa E. Faria Deland, Florida 11/7/08
