21 Reasons & Ways to welcome 2021

I’ve dubbed 2021 as “The Year of Release” and am so curious what God is calling you to release to Him this year. And, what is He hoping to release, through you, to the world? 
 
Here are My 21 Reasons & Ways to Embrace 2021

1. HINDSIGHT IS 20/20
   2020 is now history, His Story. And, now it’s time to discover His Story for your 2021.
2. 2021 = PEACE
   The theme verse for the year is John 20:21 - Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
3. 21 SIGNIFIES MATURITY
   ​Just as 21 is the age of maturity in the US and many countries abroad, 2021 brings us to our highest level of maturity so far.
4. RELEASE
   You’ve had your year of being shut in, shut down and masked-up; 2021 is your year to step out, speak up and accomplish God-sized goals.
5. FOR SUCH A TIME A THIS
   You are God’s flow through vessel for such a time as 2021.
6. BE BRAVE
   God, as Providence, has gone ahead of you and prepared the way.
7. 20-21 GRAMS
   The physical weight of the eternal soul may be 20-21 grams, according to physician, Duncan MacDougal. He calculated this by measuring the body weight of 6 patients before and after their deaths. As we welcome 2021, let’s embrace the promise from God that we can face every day saying, “It is well with my (20-21 gram) soul!”
8. FEAST
   2021 is the year to feast on God’s goodness. The Feast of Tabernacles is always on the 21st of the 7th month, according to the Hebrew calendar.
9. A WORD OF CAUTION
   In the Bible story of the Israelites, after they left Egypt, they engaged in 21 major rebellious events prior to entering Canaan. As we enter 2021, let’s LEAVE the wilderness and rebellion behind and enter into the fullness of what God has prepared in advance for us. Enter in as His child, servant, heir and friend.
10. TRUST & A NEW BEGINNING
    In the Bible, the number 2 is known as the number of relationships, co-operation, diplomacy and trust, while number 1 usually represents new beginnings. Put the two together and you have a basic understanding of the significance of the number 21.
11. A BLANK SLATE
    2021 is a blank slate, and you come into it stronger than you were a year ago.
12. YOU’RE SMARTER
    You’re smarter, too. You have, at least, discovered what doesn’t work, during a pandemic, for you/your business/ministry.

    2021 marks the 65th anniversary of “In God We Trust” signed into law by President Eisenhower. Pray with me that our country would trust in God.
20. SAVING LIVES
    In 2021, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Insulin’s creation, saving millions of lives. Ask God to give you opportunities to share the plan of eternal salvation with at least 21 people this year.
21. WHAT DO YOU WANT IN 2021?
    Prayerfully make your requests known to God and let Him decide what He wants to do for you. In Matthew 20:21, Jesus asked, “What is it you want?”
